BIS, BISS CH McAlpin's Claim to Fame at Kirkton, TD "Spenser" December 28, 1998 - April 2, 2015 Spenser was always a charismatic dog from the time I picked him out of a litter of four (bred by Marcia Lozes) at 12 weeks through winning his first points as BOW at Montgomery, through the two times he won BOB at Westminster, until the day he died. He loved to show more than anything, and Carolyn Reinders, who showed him, said Spenser regarded she and her husband not as his handlers, but his staff. He won more than 100 group firsts, many specialties, and one Best in Show. He also earned a TD because it was important to me, but it was his last track because it wasn't important to him! I was lucky to be owned by him, and I will never forget my handsome boy. COD: Failing health at 16.3 years

BISS CH PAHprint's Winning Ticket CGC  -- "Duncan"

March 16, 1999 - June 16, 2014

Duncan was a fabulous show dog, from his first show weekend winning 6-9 Puppy Dog at Montgomery, to his next show weekend a month later at the age of 8 months taking a Group Two on Saturday and a Group One on Sunday, to his last show appearance winning Select Dog at the Trinity Valley Specialty at the age of 14.  He also earned his CGC, demonstrating that he was not just a pretty face.  Duncan loved his “people” and his Westie housemates with the passion and devotion that exemplifies the true Westie spirit.  He was an amazingly healthy boy until he suffered a massive stroke on the day he died.  We were incredibly fortunate to have him in our lives, and he will be with us in memory always.

COD: Stroke at 15 years, 3 months.

CH CT Kirkton's Contested Election -- "Chad"

November 2, 2000 - June 22, 2015

Born on election day 2000, with a memorable name and a big personality, Chad was a devoted companion, champion tracking dog, and breed champion.  His parents (Spenser and Sprite) were better known than Chad, but Chad combined Sprite's working ability with Spenser's good looks, passing these qualities on to his pups.

In early January of 2015 I noticed his lymph glands were very swollen, and soon discovered he had Stage 4 Lymphoma.  Healthy all his life until this terrible cancer took him away, we fought for a few months and then made him comfortable until the end.  At least I had time to say goodbye.  Rest in peace, dear Chad.

COD: Lymphoma at 14.5 years
